Hi! We’re Lauren and Kira, the best friends and licensed estheticians behind The Skin Social.

Our story began in middle school in New York, where a lifelong friendship was formed over sleepovers, getting ready together, and the kind of late-night conversations that only happen with your best friends. Years later, life brought us both to Austin, Texas, where we continued our careers in skincare while dreaming about creating something of our own.

We’ve always believed that some of life’s best moments happen when women gather and wanted to create an experience that felt less like a traditional spa appointment and more like your favorite girls’ night… with glowing skin as the bonus.
